 Rock On!

One of the main bands that I loved at the time was Procol Harum and I almost never hear them anywhere including my local oldies stations.  My personal favorite is "Conquistador", but there are others that I like as well.

 Go Army!

When I think of Vietnam era music, there are a few songs that automatically spring to mind.

America - ''Horse with No Name''
The Grass Roots - ''Let's Live for Today'
Martha Reeves & the Vandellas - ''Jimmy Mack''
Diana Ross & the Supremes - ''Reflections''
The Four Tops - ''It's the Same Old Song''
Jimmy Ruffin - ''What Becomes of the Brokenhearted?''

I don't know why, but for some strange reason, it's those six songs I immediatley think of when someone mentions Vietnam era music.

Gotta agree with those songs, and esp the last one about Jane Fonda....she was like one of the Manson groupies....sigh.
