I found RV because I was trying to find Vietnamese Internet Radio stations.  I googled that, and this site came up.  I was curious so decided to have a look and a listen.  So far so good.

I voted for "other" 'cuase i was searching some music chart from the 1963-1967 vietnam era throughout MS Live Search.
I found many sites with lists of songs (the most famous ones) per year, then i found this station and i saved immediately in my favourites.

I came here out of curosity after Miss Saigon mentioned it on the Armchair General Site.  It's an interesting place.  It's too bad that more people don't know about it yet.

Well I have to say that it's working for VIP listening!!  I had over 300 hrs the past 3 days of VIP listeners which has never happened.  The station does well overall in terms of 30k+ per month total but of that around 6k-7k is VIP (where the station gets something back) so 900/7k (good month) in 3 days is phenomenal.  I've also gotten 2 VIP sign-ups that add a little bit for the month as well.  If anything increases, I like seeing those numbers increase! Smiley  Helps a lot with the quarterly bill.

I appreciate everyone who spreads the station around.  I have plans on renovation but need to get everything I want outlined first.  I'll post a thread for site improvements tonight or this weekend that I'd like feedback on.  This will encompass the upcoming http://www.thevietnamwar.org as well.

I listen to Celticradio.net very regularly, and I'm a longstanding member of that site.  But I just got bagpiped out one night, and went browsing on Live365 listings.  They had some other sixties rep station posted as bait, and when I opened the page, Radio Vietnam was on the list with "editor's pick" on it.  Sounded right -- but I had no idea how it was going to feel to be so saturated with the sounds of my strangely spent youth, one hit after another.    Cheers!

Damn, celtic, too.  I take R&R there, meself.  Started with the pipes and drums of the Black Watch and Tommy Makem and the Clancy Brothers in me youth (let's just say my tastes weren't confined to the Bea'les and the Beach Boys in me youth).   The Boys From Liverpool
