As much as I like The Guess Who, they didn't hold on this week to pull out a win!  It was a close match-up... The Who wins by 1 vote!

Here's the first weeks results:

This week was a slam!  Creedence Clearwater Revival blew Jefferson Airplane out of the water!

Here's the second weeks results:

Also a nice increase in voting.  Voting nearly doubled this week!  Keep the votes coming in!

Not a good week for Dylan!  The Animals pull out a big win over Dylan!

Here's the fourth weeks results:

If you have suggestions for bands that haven't been in BotBs yet, let me know.  I still have a half of a dozen or so bands left and if you think someone is missing, let me know and I'll work them in.  The Doors will not be in the BotB until the end.  I've set them as the Champions because of the overwhelming support for them.  I don't think that anyone will beat them so the BotB is more of a "who's the runner-up" band. Well the Beatles hammered the Beach Boys, which I kind of expected but thought I'd do the UK golden boys vs. the US golden boys of the era. Smiley  I'll have results up tomorrow but thought I'd kick off the newest one now.  This one should be a tough one between the Moody Blues & Buffalo Springfield...I think both have some great songs but probably won't make it to the sweet 16!  Next week?  James Brown vs. Edwin Starr...so is it War or I Got You, I Feel Good? Here's the Fifth weeks results:

Not much competition but as I said, I thought it'd be good to see them two against each other. Smiley

Too bad. In my opinion you can understand Edwin Starr a lot easier.

Yes I'm alive! Wink  I've just had a lot going on lately and not had much face time around here so the site's been on auto-pilot.  I did leave the poll up this week b/c the first week's votes were fairly low.  Tomorrow I'll have the last entry for the first round!

Starting next week, voting will be for winners of the first 9 weeks.

Hendrix is the #1 contender, so you won't see him until the second to last round followed by the Champion's, The Doors.

I think this week will have Ten Years Gone & hmmm... need to find someone else that's not in there yet. Wink  Any suggestions?

Ok.. A slight change... I'm going to have 10 weeks.  This week is Ten Years Gone vs. Canned Heat.  I'll wrap next week up with two heavyweights that I've not added yet and just realized. Rock On!

As for week 8... Van Morrison had little trouble!
