Title: The Beatles
Post by: =[Nix]= on December 12, 2006, 03:39:55 AM
OK... I know I get big on The Beatles but I want to find out what everyone else thinks.  The :fab4: are probably my favorite band of the era.  It use to be the Doors but I guess age gets the best of me and seeing the :fab4: accomplishments and what they did I have become a rather large fan.  If you don't agree on the tracks, let me know.  Voting on the station seems to indicate that I'm OK but I wanted to check forums... You my people! hehe

IMHO, tis a good blend.  "Add On" maybe, but don't "Take Away".

The Beatles opened more than just the door for the British Invasion.
They introduced us to the roots of rock 'n' roll which were deep, black and beautiful.
They, as well as a lot of the following Brit groups, gave to us the music that many American radio stations were neglect to play by the original artists.
The exploration and discovery of that musical genre was, soon afterward, nothing short of monumental!
Yeah - yeah - yeah!

NIX--you rock!
I love the Beatles, and as for me...well any of their early songs rock my world.  I would not take any of their songs off of your playlist, and maybe even add a few--not too many, I like your diverse selections too much, and would not change that at all!  Keep up the good work!

I think that your current mix of Beatles songs is pretty good. I don't think that I would or remove any.

You gave me the Doors and all of the other great tracks mate, so you can play as much of the Beatles as you like ,  :fab4:
